Ride The Ribbon With Us

COME AND JOIN US

AdultWork.com is calling on members to join us and the adult industry cycling club “Porn Pedallers” on the 30th November 2019 for a charity cycle around London for one of the events leading up to “World AIDS Day” this year. 🚴‍♀️

THE ROUTE

The 25-mile London loop dubbed “Ride The Ribbon” starts and finishes in Victoria Park, East London, touring key LGBTQ+ landmarks around the capital. The ride will be ridden on open roads and where possible, follow traffic-calmed quiet ways and cycle superhighways making it suitable for newbie cyclists. 🏳‍🌈

SUPPORTING CHARITY 

It is not a sportive. It is more of a celebratory parade, fundraising for Terrence Higgins Trust and Positive East to promote better sexual health for all, fighting HIV stigma and raising awareness of the fact that people on effective treatment can’t pass it on. 🤟

The dress code for the ride is ‘red glam’ – the camper the better. A 9am start means anyone wishing to, can also participate in the annual 10k Red Run which goes out from Victoria Park at 12.00pm. 🌳

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Ride The Ribbon is open to all our members and there is no entry fee. However, pre-registration is required, which can be done by emailing Chris Ratcliff, PPCC founder at: chris@ppcyclingclub.com. 💻

WHAT’S BEEN GOING ON IN 2019?

2019 has seen the AdultWork.com sponsored PPCC ride an ambitious season including London to Flanders, Brighton 50, the monumental 900-mile Atlantic Streak down the west coast of France, London to Amsterdam, Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 and most recently Paris 24, which saw a 4-strong team successfully conquer London to Paris in 24 hours in horrendous conditions. 🌍
