Attitude and Appearance

Most customers are on the Site to have a good time. They want to have fun with fun people, flirt, be cheeky, be naughty and get to know their performer. You need to be that fun, cheeky, naughty person too. There is absolutely no point going through all of the steps in this article, to then sit on cam looking miserable. Customers want sociable outgoing happy-to-be-working performers. If you can be that person, they’ll keep coming back for more.

Exclusivity

Following on from the above, if you are camming on multiple sites at once you will not be giving the AdultWork.com customer the dedication and attention he will be seeking. He will likely move on to someone who is committed to providing AdultWork.com members with the best experience possible. Here’s a couple of reasons why performing exclusively at AdultWork.com makes sense:

You can give due care and attention to AdultWork.com customers who are then more likely to go into a paid-for mode. You will not miss any business because you’re concentrating on something else.
There’s more value to be had from AdultWork.com customers over and above the session itself. Once you’ve performed a session the client can explore your Profile Page and subscribe to your gallery or view your clips.
To maintain a level playing field it is not permitted to appear nude in free preview. If you inadvertently appear nude because you are performing on another site, your membership on AdultWork.com will be jeopardised.

Seen one seen them all – Cam2Cam

We know the beauty of male anatomy is often in the eye of the (be)holder but DirectCam offers cam-to-cam. You can invite customers using a PC themselves to send you the feed from their webcam. Being able to see the customer on cam gives you huge scope for extending the duration of your conversation, where every second counts, or more accurately, pays. In JustCamIt (not available in JustCamIt Lite) right-click on someone in your connections list and choose “Start two-way…”

Tips

Encourage your customers to tip you to do things. Nudity is only allowed in Group or Private but there’s nothing stopping you asking them to tip you if they ask for something out of the ordinary. You will be notified in JustCamIt when you receive a tip.

Auto-tweets

If you have a Twitter account, which all good cam performers should, you can set-up auto-tweets from your DirectCam Settings Page that tweet on your behalf when various things happen. When you log in to JustCamIt, when you finish a long show… there’s a lot of options and as always entirely up to you what you do. If you have a long list of followers who are notified when you log in to JustCamIt, they will be promoted via Twitter to come and join you on cam at AdultWork.com.

Featuring, Positioning & Member of the Day

There are three paid-for subscription features that you can use to make yourself appear at the top of the various webcammer listings and Search Pages.

Featuring puts you at the top of searches for webcam performers and on the Featured Tab of the Webcammer Home Page.

DirectCam Positioning is a sealed bid system where you bid an amount without knowing what other people bid. People appear around the Site in the order of their bid amounts.

Make sure you’re seen first. Bump yourself to the top using DirectCam Positioning, you can see how to do this in the video below.
