Interview with JoannaLovell

We’ve been so lucky to interview the sexy red-head JoannaLovell.  We got to know more about her pre-adult industry job, where she found herself as a waitress who regularly poured gravy over her customers.  Read the full interview below.

What brought you to AdultWork.com?

I graduated from University in July 2005 and I spent the first year of my University course working as a life model and the last two, working as an adult model.  Having done a variety of porn-shoots, working my way up from solo modelling to girl-on-girl, to hardcore in a very short space of time.  I also worked as a pole dancer and lap dancer in my final year at University.  A lady I knew from a lap dancing club told me all about this AMAZING site that she’d found and suggested I give it a go.  That was way back in 2005 and within a few days of hearing about AdultWork.com, my first profile, ‘Marianne-Jayne’, was created (I’ve had several incarnations over the years though!)

What motivates you to work hard?

Like many folks, I go through phases.  Phases where nothing seems like hard work and I have an endless supply of energy.  I think in this sector, it’s vital to look after yourself properly and not get burnt out from overdoing things.  Balance is always important in my opinion.  We all sometimes need encouragement as it’s only human to feel discouraged from time to time, for whatever reason.  During these times, it’s always motivating to see others shining, at the top of their game, enjoying life and loving their work, knowing that when we’re all feeling the same, we can help others feel more positive in this way, also. Or something… 🙂

What is your favourite thing about your career?

Unfair question… seriously, it’s hard to pick just one thing, so I’ll pick a few, of the all-important ones: it’s indoor work with no heavy lifting.  You can get up when you want to get up.  Hearing the joy in a client’s voice when they’ve just climaxed! 🙇‍♂️

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Plot twist – my marriage as I’m now well into my second decade of married life.  There are a lot of misconceptions about people who work in the adult industry, so I’m liking my answer here. 💁‍♀️

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

To remember to switch everything off every so often.  Very good advice in this digital age, being constantly plugged into all of your devices, something going ‘piiiiiing‘ when you’re having some downtime, is very jarring.  So, remember to chill.

What’s the most embarrassing TV show you watch? Why is it embarrassing?

I’m obsessed with the Original Series of Star Trek, although it’s less frowned on to like/obsess over Sci-Fi now.  Fellow dorks will know this has not always been the case. 🖖

If you had your own TV talk show, who would be your first three guests be and why?

Donald Trump because, weirdly, I have a crush on him.  Can we pick historical figures too?  If so, I’d also have on… Gandhi, I’d ask him his views on 2020.  Lastly, Hedy Lamarr, who I’d ask lots of science questions.

What was your first job?

I was a waitress at a posh dinner convention.  I was totally useless and poured gravy onto people instead of their plates.  Luckily, I was so useless that by the time I’d actually gotten to the right table with the gravy, it was super cold anyway.  No one was ever hurt by the gravy, which is the only positive I can take away from the whole saga. 🤭

What do you talk about when you sext?

How freakishly long my tongue is and how accomodating my heart is (not really my heart but I’ll leave you to imagine what might also be accomodating… 😉).

What do you do to keep fit?

I enjoy walking, I love being out in the fresh air of the English countryside.  Nature is so beautiful and I always find a daily walk is a great tonic.

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?

Errr… I’d start with better time management.  I genuinely believe this must be a super power.  No use turning up to save the day late now, is there?  Also, flying…  it’d save me a bob or two and finally, the gift of healing those in pain.

What would you sing on karaoke night?

All that Jazz!

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done to attract a crush?

Sing down the phone. Sadly, they had a less captivating view of my singing voice than I did. 😔

What’s the most flattering thing someone’s said about your naked body?

“Nice arse, Luv!”.  The romance really got me.

What’s the most sexually daring thing you’ve ever done?

I think it’d have to be the first time I did an MF shoot on film.  Shagging on camera, you are well aware that the entire world could see your cum-face – aggghhh! 🤤

How has lockdown in the UK affected you?

Blessedly, very little has changed for me with lockdown in the UK.  I live in the countryside and I don’t drink, go out to pubs, nightclubs, or anything like that.  I appreciate how lucky I am in this regard as life has changed for so many.
